The Cornell Lab of Ornithology is a one stop shop for learning all about birds, including how to identify them by sight and sound.

eBIRD

eBird is an amazing resource, also offered by Cornell, that allows you to explore the latest bird sightings, keep track of your bird lists, photos, and sounds, and contribute to science and conservation.

iNATURALIST

iNaturalist is a citizen science database that hosts data for both flora and fauna species. The data collected feeds into scientific data repositories like the Global Biodiversity Information Facility which helps scientists retrieve and use the data.
