First Saturday Field Trips
Join us on the first Saturday of the month at various locations for themed field trips led by local naturalists and birders! To see our current lineup, check out our calendar.

Second Saturday COSA Walks
Join our volunteer bird walk leaders every second Saturday of the month at the Bishop Paiute Tribe’s Conservation Open Space Area (COSA). Start your weekend in a peaceful natural area, and enjoy bird residents and visitors depending on the time of year.
All are welcome – these walks are for birders of ALL LEVELS, beginners included! We will bring extra binoculars and field guides to share.
Walks typically last one to two hours in a small friendly group. The terrain is flat, but the path is unpaved.
Access is through the Inyo National Forest’s Supervisor's Office at 351 Pacu Lane. It is the parking lot directly behind the DMV on West Line Street.
