Panorama Dome Hike "Trees, Trees, Beautiful Trees"

Meet trip leader Mary Clapp at the Panorama Dome trailhead parking area, Mammoth Lakes, 8am-noon.

RSVPs appreciated.

This is a bird WALK, a 1.3 mile loop in the sub-alpine forest of mostly red fir and lodgepole pine. Bring binoculars if you have them but they can be provided if you do not. Potential birds include White-headed Woodpecker, Williamson Sapsucker, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Mountain Chickadee, Cassin’s finch, and Brown Creeper. Fall conditions are highly variable—check point forecast beforehand.
