The Eastern Sierra Bird Alliance (previously Eastern Sierra Audubon Society) was organized in February 1982 by 31 enthusiastic birders who wanted to create a recognized chapter of the National Audubon Society in Inyo and Mono counties.

SPONSORED PROJECTS

We at the Eastern Sierra Bird Alliance are proud to be involved with a variety of local research projects, from local Wilson’s phalarope research to an international exchange program for high school students that supports Wilson’s phalarope on both ends of their migration. 

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Annually, the Eastern Sierra Bird Alliance awards up to two $500 scholarships to Mono County and/or Inyo County graduating seniors whose future studies, current and future volunteer work, and career ambitions will promote our organization’s mission.
